BMO support for Canadian Defence Community

Proud to serve the Canadian Defence Community for another decade

For over a decade, BMO has been the Official Bank of the Canadian Defence Community, and now, our partnership will continue through 2029. We recently signed a 10-year extension with the Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services – ensuring we remain the exclusive provider of banking services to members of the defence community in Canada.

Since 2008, BMO has served as the Official Bank of the Canadian Defence Community through 900 branches and two satellite offices. The bank has introduced a Canadian Defence Community Banking (CDCB) Program, which is designed to better serve the banking needs of military and defence personnel and their families. The CDCB Program offers products and services specifically designed to meet the needs of the defence community, such as discounted banking rates and the BMO Support Our Troops Mastercard.

BMO is proud to:

  • Sponsor of the RCAF Run, Navy Bike Ride, Canada Army Run and Military Family Appreciation Days across Canada.
  • Raise more than $519,000 for Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services through the BMO Support Our Troops (SOT) Mastercard Program
  • Partner with the Royal Canadian Legion and the Poppy Campaign

Visit the BMO Canadian Defence Community page to learn more about the products we offer and how BMO is helping members of the Canadian Defence Community.
