15 years of student support

On September 25th, BMO’s Equity Through Education program celebrates 15 years of donating institutional equity trading commissions to charitable organizations that support education and inclusion.

Each year, BMO donates all our North American and European institutional equity commissions from one day of trading to people who may not otherwise receive support.

Since 2005, ETE has donated more than C$20 million, helping nearly 5,000 students realize their educational ambitions and achieve their potential through scholarships, bursaries and leadership development.

In partnership with organizations like Indspire, The Jackie Robinson Foundation and Lime, we’re making a positive impact on developing a more diverse workforce at BMO and beyond. Many of BMO’s people have received support from this programming; to read one employee’s inspiring story, click here.
